The fries are made with hot pepper, sweet potato, potato, shrimp, squid, onion, rolled seaweed and dumpling. It is said that the name Budae (Military Base) Fries was made because they are sold in front of the army base, or because they are eaten by sprinkling salt on them to fit the taste of American military personnel.
