[Talk Talk Market] Hwacheon Market
[Talk Talk Market]
Hwacheon
Market
Hwacheon is famous for Sancheonoe and Jjokbae
Water Festival. Recently, after an popular TV show introduced Korean famous
author, Oisoo Lee,
lives in Hwachoen, it
is quickly gaining popularity among travelers. If you visit Hwacheon, we
recommend you to visit attractive Hwacheon Market, too :-)
The characteristic of the market is the
youth. Unlike other markets, the main target of this market is young soldiers
because lots of them live in Hwacheon.
This is the inside of a restaurant. You
can see many soldiers have meals! If you visit here from Friday to Sunday, you
can see the market crowded with soldiers.
Also, many travelers visit the market
because there is a terminal bus station near the market! If someone
participates in one of festivals in Hwacheon, he or she would get a gift card
of 50% admissions he already paid. The gift card can be used in restaurants or
markets!
The market has lots of agricultural
products, foods, cultures and flea markets. Especially, I recommend you to eat
buckwheat pancakes and Tadpole noodles :-)
