Chandni Chowk in
India VS Gwangjang
Market in Korea
Do you remember we introduced a series of
webtoons on
Korean market where Global supporters visited? They accomplished another
mission that compare foreign markets to Korean markets.
Lots of travelers say “If you want to see
real face of the nation where you visit, you go to the traditional markets
because they reflect culture and tradition of the country.”
So, we’d like to introduce some foreign
markets and our traditional markets :-) The first markets are Chandni Chowk in
India and Gwangjang
Market in Korea!
Chandni Chowk is crowded with cars, people and
cows. Here you can see lots of herbs and spices used in Indian food and
cycle-rickshaw, common public transportation in India. Also, there are various
foods in this market! If you visit here, you can enjoy lots of Indian food
including curry.
Gwangjang market in Korea looks more
organized than Chandni chowk. As
we already introduced,this
market is famous for foods such as drug Gimbap, tteokbokki, boiled fish cake and Japchae.
Also, there is 100-year-old Hanbok
market in this market. Do you know Hanbok is Korean traditional clothes. You can
buy a splendid version of the traditional hanbok in this market :-)
